Welcome to MixMuse LLC! I’m Star Rush, owner and President of the creative services company in Seattle, WA. It’s been my dream to be transform my love of writing and portrait & event photography into a company of my own, creating work I’m passionate about, helping clients reach their goals and beyond. I have 25+ years of professional experience writing and teaching writing at University, taking and exhibiting my photographs, and running college programs that prepare others to do these things. Now, I’ve combined my passions and expertise into the services provided by MixMuse specifically for artists, nonprofits, and small businesses to tell dynamic stories online, in print, and in-person.

MixMuse is in the business of telling stories. It’s a progressive portrait, headshot, and event photography and social media and grant writing business that is innovative, imaginative, and forward thinking. MixMuse caters to clients looking for engaging writing and photography, as well as successful communication and business strategies. MixMuse provide smart solutions to help clients solve tough problems.
